Yotam Budnik is a 12th-grade student from Rehovot 🇮🇱 just won a gold medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics in Uzbekistan but was not allowed to compete under the Israeli flag.

When Yotam was awarded his medal 🏅 stepped onto the podium, pulled an Israeli flag out of his pocket and wore it in defiance of the Anti-Semitic discrimination.

While the medal 🏅 was revoked from him for his courage, he has no regrets

"The law that prevents me from waving the flag is based only on politics, and I thought there was no place for that in a scientific competition", he said.

The organizers demanded that he return his medal.

Yotam said no.

Organizers took away his certificate and removed his ranking from the website.

In the song he sings: "You never mention October 7. Young girls raped against trees. Murdered brutally. For the crime of dancing. You condemn the Jews with selective memory." The chorus echoes the Nova festival survivors' rallying cry: "We will dance again." The song ends with a line in Hebrew.

I have a real issue when people say, "What starts with the Jews doesn't end with the Jews." It creates the notion that Jewish lives only matter because their destruction will eventually impact the non-Jewish world.

It is also true, however, that the threat of radical Islam, which unleashed genocide on Israel on October 7, is absolutely coming for the West.

The Islamist attack at Berlin Pride is another indication that radical Islam is at war with the West and threatens it from within.

She has died of wounds sustained on Passover eve when she was critically wounded as a cluster bomb submunition fired by the regime in Iran hit her family’s home in central Israel on April 1.

הנה סיפור אחד קטן שימחיש לכם מי היה קליין. מי שקרא את הספר שלי כבר מכיר-
היינו בקו בגבול לבנון. קליין קרא לי להצטרף אליו למארב משותף על הגדר קרוב לעמדה של חיזבאללה שהייתה לא רחוק, מהצד השני של הגדר בתוך לבנון. בגלל שאני דובר ערבית הוא רצה שננסה להאזין למחבלים. זחלנו לעמדה הקרובה ביותר כדי לנסות להאזין משם וכשהבנו שאנחנו לא מצליחים להאזין חזרנו אחורה, ואז קליין אמר שיש לו רעיון ונעלם מהבסיס. אחרי כמה שעות הוא חזר עם שקית של טויז אר אס שהביא מקרית שמונה, והוא הוציא מהשקית מכשיר צעצוע שמגדיל טווח שמיעה. ישבנו שם כמה חיילים ועם טוש שחור השחרנו אותו כדי שיהיה מבצעי, ויחד עם המכשיר זחלנו חזרה לאותה עמדה כדי לנסות הפעם להאזין עם זה.
כשסיפרתי את הסיפור הזה באחד מהראיונות, אלמנתו של רועי קליין, שרה, שלחה לי הודעה עם צילום של צעצוע דומה שהיא מצאה בחפצים שלו. יכול להיות שהיה לו כבר כזה בבית ומשם קיבל את הרעיון, יכול להיות שאחרי החוויה הזו בצבא החליט גם לקנות לו אחד לבית. בשבוע שעבר כשביקרתי אצלה היא הוציאה את הצעצוע הזה ונזרקתי 20 שנה אחורה לאותו מארב...
תדמיינו את הסיטואציה, ערבי מנצרת לידו יהודי מהיישוב עלי עם כיפה על הראש, ושנינו שוכבים בין השיחים עם מכשיר צעצוע בינינו. העמדה כנראה הייתה ריקה כשחזרנו, אז המתנו שם, ובאותו זמן שהעברנו במארב בהמתנה למחבלים גם ניהלנו שיחה ארוכה בה אני סיפרתי לו קצת מהמסורת והחיים שלי, וגם הוא סיפר לי על החיים שלו. ואז קליין אמר לי משפט מדהים: "כל ישראל ערבים זה לזה", למרות שזה משפט עם משמעות דתית הוא ביקש שאקח את זה למשמעות החברתית- כולנו אזרחי ישראל וצריכים לחיות בערבות הדדית. 12 שנים לאחר מכן כשהקמנו עמותה ערבית ישראלית שתוביל להשתלבות של צעירים מהחברה הערבית במדינה קראנו לה "ביחד ערבים זה לזה", מתוך אותו משפט שלמדתי מקליין, ועד היום הרוח שלו היא חלק מהעמותה שלנו.
