The US had Iraq under tight sanctions from 1991 to 2003 and it failed to remove Saddam until the invasion with troops on the ground. Iran will be no different only more troops and more casualties for Iran and US. It will fail.

@riachi_jean The balance of power was heavily in favor of Israel in 1982. Syria was decimated, it lost its entire airforce. The PLO was pushed out of Lebanon and the government was about to sign a peace treaty with Israel. Yet, by 2000 Israel left Lebanon.
