what’s actually live on https://t.co/9pcDf9wcbd right now
send a file or a whole folder, browser to browser. no login. files never sit on a server.
send text that deletes immediately or after 24 hours.
password on file/folder shares.
qr code so the other person can open the room without typing the link.
resume is on prod now. if the tab goes background or wifi blips and both windows are still open, it continues from the same byte instead of 0%.
nearby share and local share are next. not live yet.
#buildinpublic
@makhmudov9807 So it's like a self learning loop to find the best converting designs.
I would like to try it out as well when I launch my own ios app as well. Have you thought about building the same for Android play store?
looking to #connect with people actually shipping something
i work a 9-5 and build at night. right now that’s https://t.co/9pcDf9wcbd — browser-to-browser file and text share, no login, files never stored. resume just went live after the first prod deploy broke.

building in public
drop what you’re building. i’ll follow back the ones that aren’t a copy-paste list
@Jay36_9 makes sense. take the link to where users already hang out instead of building another community from zero
i’ll keep an eye on verififlo. good luck
@5thwye_ just opened submitmap. the “what disqualifies you” field is the thing people find out after wasting an hour on a form
happy to connect. i’ll actually use this when i do a proper launch pass
@pandev00 Happy to connect!!
saw you’re writing too. what’s the book about
i only get to the laptop after a 9-5 so i’m curious how you split building vs writing without one killing the other
@Jay36_9 Happy to connect.
just looked at verififlo. structured reviews instead of “any thoughts?” in a group chat is the actual problem
most mvp feedback i get is useless because it’s unstructured. how are you getting the first testers onto the link?
watchdog thought the peer was dead.
browsers throttle timers in background tabs, so a healthy connection looked like 60s of silence. plus the resume listener was unregistering itself on a state change, and the ui treated reconnect as a brand new file so a 60% transfer jumped back to 0.
second deploy is the one that stayed up.
screenova sounds useful. app store pages are a mess. what’s the first thing the agent changes?
@kidtsang yeah. first week after a ship is where you find out if anyone actually hits the ugly path
resume only broke once real tabs went to background. testing never showed it
