I have no frame of reference, I can't compare it to the sentiments of US soldiers in previous conflicts. But I suspect these are new sentiments, or at least a new willingness to express them this openly and directly.

But as one serviceman told me: "What people in the media don't understand when they compare past conflicts to this one, is this operation has no morale behind it. That makes a world of difference to service members deployed to undesirable locations indefinitely."

Read that last part again: No morale. Deployed to undesirable locations INDEFINITELY.

My own conclusion: When a war has no morale behind it, winning means that you simply end it. There is no other "winning" in such an unjust war.

@Pataramesh Any chance Iran might develop unmanned launchers? I’m thinking of something similar: systems that could be rapidly deployed from remote areas, making them much harder to locate and target in the first place.

@Pataramesh I think Iran might need a different approach: keep the high-rate production of KS and HQ, but add a new, "smaller & cheaper" missile, one capable of reaching a range of around 1200 km with a ~100–150 kg warhead, and compact enough to be quad-launched from a single launcher.

NEW: Low-res satellite images confirm Iran destroyed/damaged F-35s

The sat images show US aircrafts hit by ballistic missiles at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, in Jordan.

Iran had previously said it destroyed 3 F-35s and damaged 3 others.

Yemen bombed ARAMCO

Few hours ago, Yemen’s AnsarAllah struck the ARAMCO refinery in Jazan, Saudi Arabia in retaliation for their attacks against Al Hodeidah port.

Sirens were also additionally activated at Yanbu where the east-west pipeline goes through but there’s no visuals of any attack there at this moment.

The air defenses at Saudi Arabia could not protect the Yemeni missiles. Not even with the Patriot PAC-3 air defense battery deployed at Jazan by the Greeks.
