The Point Pleasant area's evacuation warning has been escalated to an Evacuation Order. Flooding in the area is imminent. Floodwaters become incredibly dangerous after sunset (at 4:56pm today).
SR-99 north and south will be closed with no estimated time of opening due to flooding from the Cosumnes River. Avoid traveling anywhere near the surrounding areas of Wilton, Herald and outlying region of Galt.
.@SacramentoOES is warning residents living in Wilton to leave the area now. Rising water may spill over onto the nearest roadways and cut off access to leave the area.
An evacuation center has been identified as Wackford Community Center, 9014 Bruceville Rd., Elk Grove.
