Great visit to Miramare Castle yesterday, great timing with the Franz Ferdinand series. He met the Kaiser here in March 1914. Probably discussed roses? I also visited Trieste and saw where FF embarked on his trip to Sarajevo, and where his and Sophie's coffins were brought back.

@chilternrailway almost midnight, the Class 68 is still there, revving away, an hour and a half after arrival. I can see the engine fumes from the bedroom window. Why do you have to do this?

@chilternrailway I'm staying with the inlaws in Stourbridge, just next to where your trains park overnight. I've not been here for a while but the late evening noise has got much worse, a Class 68 is sat making a terible racket as was one last night. Why the need for this noise?

@DavidMPHSG @DanEtchells @Daily_Express I'm not saying that it would. But the UK network is not homogeneous - not all trains can run everywhere, such as the Class 165/166 that are oversized for many lines, and not all lines are cleared for the same freight loading gauge.
