We just launched a major update to the Cohort Mentor Portal, expanding how we leverage multi-source orchestration and LLM-driven pipelines to enhance live, human-centered mentorship.
Mentors now have real-time access to Cohort’s intelligence engine, embedded directly in their video sessions with members.
While meeting 1:1, mentors can now:
📍 Instantly understand where a member is on their journey
🧠 Have a comprehensive—say, superhuman—understanding of what matters most right now
💬 Ask complex, contextual questions, and get immediate answers
All of this is powered by our orchestration engine, which actively monitors each member’s progress across the platform.
This is what Kian Simpson and I have been building toward: combining cutting-edge systems with the kind of deeply human mentorship our team embodies — not to replace the relationship, but to amplify it, and scale that mastery to every member on our platform.
AI is behind the scenes. The mentor stays at the center.
And the member gets a smarter, more supportive experience because of it.
This is just the beginning. More tools are on the way.
experimenting with @OpenAIDevs codex cli:
1. install was not as easy as global install and byok. ripgrep and LTS are recommended in doc but seemed to be necessary for any real repo. even the codex repo
but then when asked to complete the installation steps, it did not understand that the repo was already cloned and all it needed to do was pip install -e .
@OpenAIDevs The default o4-mini is not working for me either. Also, should it have context about the current working folder? It doesn't seem to have context
Just got back from the @LearnCap AGM—great to connect with portfolio founders, LPs, and the Learn team. Always cool to hear what everyone is working on

You can now create a basic scene and transform it into a work of art using Stability AI’s Structure Model.
