How malaysians pandang org nepal/ bangladesh kt Malaysia, mcm tulah org Korea Selatan pandang kita kt Korea. (Very mostly)
We talked about this with my korean friend in Russia and she said โyes, sadly itโs the truthโ.
You want to rule out Iron deficiency?
The only test you need to do in most cases is :
Serum ferritin. If its less than 50. Treat the patient. Period.
Iron levels, saturation, TIBC all are supportive and needed in case of acute phase reaction. If ferritin is high and you suspect inflammation or chronic condition resulting in high ferritin levels, only then check the rest.
Sending iron profile and no ferritin is a wrong way to go about it. Please tell everyone.
Thankyou for attention to this matter ๐ซฃ

๐จ BREAKING NEWS!
Today we unveil through a soft-launch, Malaysiaโs FIRST EVER comprehensive framework on rare diseases โ the National Policy for Rare Diseases in Malaysia! ๐๐น
๐ Rare diseases affect fewer than 1 in 4,000 people in ๐ฒ๐พ. Globally there are 6,000โ8,000 conditions, mostly genetic. Yet, only ~5% have approved treatments. This is why policy matters.
๐ Our policy pillars: early detection to shorten the โdiagnostic odysseyโ, fairer access to treatment, research & innovation, stronger clinical capacity, and a National Rare Disease Database.
๐ At the WHA78 in Geneva, ๐ฒ๐พ joined the global call for action on rare diseases. Today we follow through โ turning advocacy into real policy at home. ๐
Behind every statistic is a child, a parent, a family waiting for answers. ๐น
Their journey has been long, uncertain, and often lonely. This policy is our promise: you will not be left behind. โค๏ธ
