@yourgirldad124 @DevinMayCry @denimneverdies How can the text that makes up half the joke alongside the visuals, be off topic?? If the joke changes with the dialogue removed than the dialogue is a necessary and important part of the joke
@JakeJoh79291250 @Hurricane_Gabby@NatanC@Cunnyfederacy The person you replied to specified common people, ie peasants, not the Wizard in the picture. The average person in a setting like DnD is not a Wizard, they're peasants and workers. They also can't afford or have access to healing potions whenever they break a bone
@JakeJoh79291250 @Hurricane_Gabby@NatanC@Cunnyfederacy A single 300gp diamond takes the average peasant like 100 years to accrue, let alone find someone powerful enough to cast Revivify within 1 minute of a person dying.
Lay on Hands can heal poison or disease, not a shattered spine, missing limb or magical paralysis. Even at lvl 20
@BenMoonmace @arakkosuperstar I suppose. Maybe the creators intended for him to die and be brought back or maybe they didn't. I think he did but I suppose it ain't 100%. Either way, banger show lmao
@BenMoonmace @arakkosuperstar But then why did his tattoos glow when Katara revived him? That seems to me like it was the connection to the previous Avatars being restored. If he was just unconscious and not dead why would his tattoos glow when he wakes up, that makes no sense since his Chakra was still block
@arakkosuperstar Did people in this thread just not watch ATLA?? Hang died in Ba Sing Se. He literally says "I wasn't just hurt, I was gone. And you brought me back" to Katara. What else would "I was gone" mean other than he died briefly and was revived
@shineq__ @LobsterPosture @ariklus1 @RomanianLiberal Trying to create an anti-fascist coalition with Britain and France in order to defend Austria and then Czechoslovakia. After that they did what every other country did, appeasement to avoid war
@GabeLozano2@PoliticsLs Actually, people talked about the fact this story is almost guaranteed to be fake based on the fact churches exist in NK and people regularly go to them and identify as practising Christians. Plus, the source for this is literally the US State Department, not exactly unbiased
@kirawontmiss He's listening to a woman recounting the horrors Korean women suffered during Japanese occupation. His mouth isn't even moving in that clip and it's clearly not his voice. Yall are laughing at the horrors Japan committed against Korean women because you just assume NK=Evil
@vanillaopinions There is 0 implication in this post that the op is complaining about voting every election. Please, people, actually read what you're trying to dunk on. The specific complaint is about being told to vote for dems to push them left, then being told to not criticise the dems
@naomichance_ How does this even read as EAL?? The only "error" is that technically you need a comma after "trans women". Other than that it's completely perfect English. It's just a kind of funny phrase to say that I would pin on wonky wording, rather than them being EAL or bad at English
@NevettJason@SunnyGreenLand@ThomasWillett9 So because it's not a current record it doesn't count?? Are you saying women have gotten weaker in the last 60 years?? Also, it's an annual event, so it's hardly rare. But if it was an Olympic event that runs every 4 years would you say it doesn't count cause it's "rarely run"
