I'm not trying to defend Texas Tech here but it would be very weird to try and shake a teams hand during a trophy presentation. Why does the NCAA just hand it to them randomly while celebrating? Why not do an official presentation? There was never a great time for teams to meet.
Texas Tech players show their lack of class and REFUSE to shake hands with Texas after losing the national championship: a breakdown.
Oh, how the turntables. ๐
@castlehillmom I didn't realize this either. Upon further research it looks like the state, if the program is adopted statewide, and local affiliates take on the cost of the books. This Reddit post outlines it. It's interesting and explains what the foundation pays for.
ESPN's full breakdown of the controversy from yesterday's Tennessee-Texas Tech game included a report from @sportsiren confirming that Karen Weekly told Taylor Pannell, "Good game."
First of all, great win Vols! That was a coin flip game and heads landed in your favor. Hell of a win!!
But I will say this, I have never encountered a bigger bully than @KarenWeekly. The mental bs she has pulled with @taylor__pannell is insane. Not just today but through her transfer. Just brutal. @Coach_SniderSB I wonโt even mention you but I guess I just did. Lol.

@wcsNHScoachT@s_mitch5@mopatton_sports This man sounds like an SEC coach trying to talk his team into a play off spot after beating a tough 5-7 "rival" at home in November. Laying it on thick with the coach speak ๐๐
@wcsNHScoachT@mopatton_sports I do prefer for my teams to look good ๐คฃ
Athletes work hard, they deserve the best we can do in coaching, practices, uniforms, apparel, and even trophies when theyโve earned them.
@JackMac Jack Mac not understanding why productions have massive crews just proves he doesn't watch barstool content. My man have never heard "the barstool difference"
