Annoying that I can't donate the lenses from my old glasses without the frames. I got new lenses with new correction and reused the frames, but no organisation takes the old corrective lenses... I guess it is too much work to cut them to fit in new frames... #globalwaste#waste
@andybudd This is basically what's happening where I am too π I'm flying by the seat of my pants and my outsourced designers are doing the best they can with one eye blindfolded and one hand tied behind their back.

@thetrainline It was a coach journey booked in February. The bus driver told me my ticket had been canceled in March. No indication was made in the app that this was the case (Screenshots taken yesterday) and I was refused entry when the bus driver couldn't scan the qr code on my ticket.
. @thetrainline please explain to me why, despite my valid ticket booked through your app, I was denied entry to my bla bla bus, the bus driver saying my ticket had been canceled, though I have received no prior information about this.
@CliftonB They pay less on paper, but your money goes further... it's really same same when you factor everything in. If I come across something I'll let you know!
In the document you sign during naturalization in France that outlines your rights and responsibilities as a citizen, it includes this principle:
"The Nation provides the individual and the family with the conditions necessary for their development."
Must be nice...
@CliftonB They are, all the time! Just gotta find the right one willing to sponsor you - shouldn't be too hard. Pick a country and start applying! If you want to hear about France specifically, I'd be happy to chat!
It goes on:
"The Nation guarantees to all the protection of health, material security and the right to leave.
Any person who, because of age, physical or mental state, is unable to work has the right to obtain from the community suitable means of subsistence.
