deadass this is what your life becomes if you either don’t start a family or have an (irl) available friend group
I’ve been doing the whole solo thing, ventured doing different activities for myself and GUYS it does not solve everything. We NEED other people to keep us sane.
This move is a diplomatic all-timer. It's like Messi cutting inside. You know it's coming. It doesn't matter how many times they run it. You're getting those pandas and you'll like it.
It’s the exact same in housing
The boomers who are morally outraged to pay real estate taxes AND oppose new supply … have no leg to stand on when screeching “SOCIALISM!!!” at young voters vote for rent control
Screen addiction is a challenge that affluent parents can buy their way out of.
They can throw money at the problem.
If you are raised by a single parent who is working extra hours to make ends meet, that parent may have less time to monitor what you are consuming online. You may also lack a role model or authority figure who can say, “That stuff you’re seeing online is crazy. Don’t take it seriously.”
I have spoken with several upper-middle-class parents who are deeply concerned about screen addiction. They deliberately enroll their children in soccer, piano lessons, math camps, and other extracurricular activities. Some have told me, “I don’t even care whether my child likes every activity. I just know that if he isn’t doing these things, he’ll be alone in his room on his phone.”
In effect, they fill nearly all the empty space on the calendar so their children are not spending hours scrolling or doomscrolling on TikTok. Families with fewer resources, especially single-parent or otherwise fragmented families, are much less able to do this.
in the mahabharata, duryodhana bets on karna when karna is a nobody.
karna spends the rest of his life treating that belief above everything else. even when krishna offers him legitimacy, family, status, even a kingdom he still refuses.
ultimately that costs him his life but maybe that’s friendship & loyalty to early believers at its finest.
people don’t realize this, but 2026 appears to be the first year in human history where humanity as a whole is below replacement fertility.
this has never happened before. not during wars. not during pandemics.
for the first time in human history, we are not producing enough children to replace ourselves.
this is the only real existential crisis.

Sid's cancer story is a glimpse into the future of healthcare.
He was diagnosed with cancer, went through the standard treatments, and initially responded well. Then the cancer came back.
By 2024, his doctors told him they'd run out of options (in other words: we don't know how)
So Sid started digging into his own case. He built a 1,000-page G-doc, garnered specialists from different fields, and then used single-cell sequencing to find out what's driving his tumor.
His findings took him to Germany to receive experimental treatment.
Today, he is in remission.
His story says a lot about where healthcare is going.
i.e. towards autonomy and less dependance on the traditional system.
We can already see the "infrastructure" for that future slowly being built, for example:
- Diagnostics are getting cheaper. Genome sequencing once cost more than $100M, and today you can get it done in your living room for $100.
- AI reasoning is improving fast. Most models are already outperforming doctors.
- People are no longer waiting passively for the healthcare system to help them. Peptide craze and self-experimentation is a clear sign that people want more control over their own health.
Does this mean that hospitals and doctors are going away? Not at all. But they will no longer be the primary source of health intelligence.
Those who can combine AI, better (and cheaper) diagnostics, continuous health data, and 10x doctors will be able to make faster and more informed decisions about their health.
Sid's story, and many others, is proof that this shift is already happening.
People obsess over skincare, supplements, hair, clothes, and every possible aesthetic hack while ignoring the way they carry themselves all day.
Your posture changes more than your appearance.
Head up. Shoulders back. Jaw relaxed. Move like you're comfortable in your own body.
And honestly, the confidence shift alone can change how you look.
You don't need some insane protocol.
Fix the basics you repeat thousands of times a day.
