I think I have officially made it as a volcanologist!! Had a tremendous field week with helicopter support at Mount St. Helens. Absolutely fantastic experience with some amazing geology and accompanying geologists! Even had a mesmerising flight into the crater! @USGSVolcanoes

Had some spectacular fieldwork days at Mount St. Helens this week! Utterly blown away by this #volcano and extent of the 1980 eruption. Having a fantastic time working with @USGSVolcanoes on the physical volcanology of past #eruptions. Plenty more fieldwork planned this summer!!
