A few policy polling results from @MULawPoll (#=in favor):
Background checks on gun sales: 81%
Legal same sex marriage: 72%
Accept Medicaid funds: 70%
Legal marijuana: 61%
Abortion, legal in most/all cases: 61%
Top Wisconsin Republicans are opposed to all of these positions.
A 19th century Wisconsin state law that has not been enforced since the 1970s outlaws almost all abortions in the state.
If Roe v. Wade is reversed, Roe’s opponents and supporters agree it would immediately go back into effect.

Lotta drama over an infrastructure bill that spends an extra $55 billion a year over ten years.
They raised the military budget by more than half that a few weeks ago without batting an eye.
A catastrophic failure of US journalism and politics is that something like Biden's 10-year, $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill is not called a $350 billion annual bill...but the Pentagon's budget, which will exceed $7.5 trillion over a decade, is called a $750 billion annual bill

I just don't understand why the bar for police is so fucking low. Their supporters paint them as these badass crime fighters but in the same breath will say "they feared for their lives so they had to kill a literal child." Tough people aren't afraid of 13 year olds.
