After approx. 24 days at sea, the SpaceX Recovery team successfully guided Starship to a location just off the coast of Christmas Island. A team of SpaceX engineers is on their way to conduct additional analysis on the vehicle in calmer waters before attempting to return it to Starbase

@GrantObi Straight up, they might’ve attached some points in the engine bay to the big raft, and then the lead lines connect to the raft. Either that or they have holes already built in that they’re using for this purpose

@HerrJohnssen @SpaceX Ahhh ok. I was thinking they’d take off 2-3 tiles and tack weld an anchor point on to tow because that could be done easily too. Probably a safety concern due to the waves causing instability
