@akeltheartist Not even just dramas. Seinfeld, The Office, South Park and The Simpsons all had famously good season 5s. I have no clue what OP is talking about
@asubparusername Palpatine tasking Dooku to hire Jango Fett makes sense. It’s Jango hiring the shapeshifter assassin where it falls apart. Jango is a bounty hunter who could probably kill Padme himself. fucker even shows up to the scene of the crime to kill the assassin HE HIRED. It’s stupid.
@theneedledrop I’m still not too hot on the third act, but I totally agree that the rest is an underrated gem. the first 45 minutes are genuinely some of the best and most visceral scenes of a living nightmare. It’s great.
@Schaffrillas Peggy Sue Got Married is absolutely necessary. Not only is it fucking bonkers if you go in blind but Carrey sings a do-wop song with Nic Cage.
@woop54 I’m still not totally sure why MJ dickriders loved this outside of the obvious reasons bc I think that the filmmaking genuinely butchers a lot of what made him such a captivating performer. like why splice up his legendary dancing with a billion shots of the same crowd???
The world holds so much misery that miserable hearts forget the face of happiness.
They grow comfortable being sore losers, so when they see real sportsmanship it unsettles them! like holy water touching a demon. Because clapping for someone else’s victory requires something many people never learned…how to win with grace & pure joy, and how to lose with grace, chin up & dignity.
