Despite challenging road conditions and seasonal flooding from the River Nile, the patrol successfully reached the community, engaging with local authorities and women and youth groups to better understand the impact of displacement and need for improved services, fostering a deeper connection with those affected by ongoing challenges.

To improve livestock health and strengthen community resilience, 15 community animal health workers and five pastoralists received hands on instruction in Fashoda 🇸🇸, #SouthSudan. Organized by #UNMISS#Indian 🇮🇳 peacekeepers in partnership with the Department of Animal Resources and Veterinary Science in Upper Nile, the sessions focused on livestock disease prevention and promoting hygienic animal rearing practices.
