Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
Today, we celebrate the strong women leading the way at Peel Paramedics! Their dedication drives progress, mentorship, and innovation.
This year’s theme, #AccelerateAction, reminds us to empower women, break barriers, and amplify voices. #IWD2025
I had an amazing ride-along with @Peel_Paramedics 🚑🚑 Our emergency service team are absolutely the best in the business, and they’re leading the pack in so many ways. Thanks for the ride! 🚨🚨🚨
Being a medic is more than medicine. It is empathy, compassion, fast-paced decisions, anatomy, law, crisis prevention, and defensive driving. It is stressful, it is 24/7, and it is missing holidays and family events.

Tonight is one of the busiest nights of the year for @Peel_Paramedics. Celebrate responsibly. Don’t drink and drive, have a plan or stay over. If you need us, we will be there. Be safe everyone.
Outstanding! An honour to be medical director for the best EMS agency on the planet! Splitting this service into three parts would be one of the worst decisions I can imagine. I completely support @Peel_Paramedics to do anything possible to prevent such a disaster!
What a sight at this morning’s start of the @regionofpeel council meeting with @OPSEU277@ParamedicAssoc in attendance. They are using their off duty time to make their voice heard. The Peel Dissolution uncertainty is not fair to our frontline heroes.
We can’t cut corners on paramedic services. When residents need an ambulance for a health emergency, we must have one available. @OPSEU277@ParamedicAssoc
The Peel Region dissolution train wreck needs to be stopped in its tracks.
A @Peel_Paramedics vehicle was sitting poised and ready to go in the parking lot beside my house so I passed by and had a fun little chat with Mr Kernichan. Thanks Jody and team for all you do for our community. #RainDay#ThankYou#StayInTheCarSelfie
Unfortunately @Peel_Paramedics won’t exist soon if the transition board has their way. Instead you’ll be getting lower quality care from a lower-tier municipal agency. Patients will suffer. Reach out to let the board know if you’d like our world class service kept as is.
It’s hiring season for paramedics. Peel risks losing a lot of good staff and being unable to hire due to lack of security.
Tell the transition board that paramedics in Peel need to remain to service Peel!
Email [email protected] to let them know we’re needed!
My @Rogers internet is down. They will give me a refund but I need to call back when it’s working. Terrible customer service policies. Is it time to switch to @Bell ?
