@moominmarxist Reflexology helped me get over my cat allergy!! But then when I moved out of my cat’s house it came back and now I can’t stay over at my cat’s house (where my mum also lives) 😿 I need more reflexology!!
@bigdybbukenergy We absolutely should help friends out of situationships but we can also acknowledge that it’s more difficult to leave them when you’ve not received a crumb of affection elsewhere & that oftentimes it’s not a matter of logically realising u should leave but mustering the strength
@bigdybbukenergy I see yr point & how the word’s simplicity might disguise unhealthy dynamics but I also think that’s the tricky ‘situation’ part of ‘situationship’... Any relationship is a relationship but we usually reserve that word for mutually romantic ones so I actually like this other word
@bigdybbukenergy I’m not one of those women as I’ve never even had a situationship—my longest ship was 4 dates—& while that doesn’t make me immature it might mean I discuss the romantic experiences I have had in a way that others find naive or callow. I hope what I share is respected nonetheless.
@bigdybbukenergy OK I’m absolutely on board with that! Your original tweet sounded like you were making fun of women who are strung along and who call that situation a situationship, calling them immature, but I guess we agree.
It’s entirely unserious that science can’t yet give a clear answer as to what makes the snapping sound when you squeeze a joint. Pop me in an MRI and let me have a crack at it
If I crack my knuckles I have to wait ~ 10 minutes to crack my knuckles again; I can pop the join in my left ankle uninterruptedly for hours. Science fails to consider this multiplicity of pops. A serious lapse in our knowledge of the human body if you ask me !!
“Bubbles” in the “synovial fluid” . First of all how did the air get in there huh? Secondly what is it bursting into. Thirdly I never heard a bubble burst so loudly? Fourthly,
