We remain available to support our member, the Federal Aviation Administration, throughout this essential process and will continue working alongside the global aviation community to further advance the highest safety standards.
The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) extends its deepest condolences to all those affected by the tragic accident at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC. Our thoughts are with the passengers, crew, and their loved ones during this difficult time.
Safety remains the top priority of our industry and flying remains one of the safest modes of transport. At this stage, it is imperative to allow the FAA and NTSB the necessary time to conduct their thorough investigation to determine all the facts behind this tragic accident.
