An horrific mass shooting in Canada and guess what? A fucking American was behind it. Nobody should be surprised at this news. Nobody.

If the @Conservative_BC plan to change ICBC's auto insurance, they should tell voters before they tell the the group that stands to make millions from the change. My latest in @BIVnews:

NBC News: within 15 minutes of the Cornell campus alert on the sexual assault in November 8, 2024, tips came on to the campus police:

* the names of men
* the existence of a GroupMe fraternity group chat where frat brothers were discussing what happened
* two women at the house that night said the fraternity brothers assured them the incident was consensual — and later asked one of them not to talk about it
* a screen recording of a Snapchat conversation among Chi Phi members from that night, where one advertised “free p----y” in an upstairs bedroom
* a caller said one of the men identified was her ex-boyfriend, and he told her that he “had attended a party at Chi Phi” where a woman had been “sexually assaulted by several males and coerced into consuming ketamine and other drugs.”
And more.

Much of the information was never passed on to the Tompkins County DA Office.

This contagious claim that under the NDP BC has become 'the highest taxed province' is nonsense. Provincial own-source revenue as share of GDP is 4th lowest among the provinces, and below the Canadian weighted average. #bcpoli /2

I follow @bianca_nobilo because she explains in living-room language the true dynamics of conflict. Given the state of the region this could become a very important factor.

POST OFFICE BANKRUPTED A MAN AFTER HE ASKED FOR HELP 91 TIMES

Lee Castleton @CastletonLee did not hide the problem.

He reported it 91 times in just 12 weeks.

He kept telling the @PostOffice that Horizon was showing losses he could not explain.

Their response was to audit him, suspend him, demand around £25,000 and eventually bankrupt him.

In 2003, Lee Castleton and his wife sold their home and bought a small Post Office branch in Bridlington, hoping for a quieter life by the sea with their two young children.

Within a year, Horizon was showing unexplained shortages.

When the case reached the High Court, he could not afford a lawyer and represented himself.

He lost.

The Post Office then pursued him for about £321,000 in legal costs.

He was bankrupted.

His children were bullied at school. His daughter was spat at because people believed her father was a thief. His wife's health suffered.

In 2019, he was one of more than 550 former postmasters in the group litigation that ended with a £58 million settlement.

His share was around £20,000.

Years later, former Post Office chief executive Paula Vennells told the Horizon IT Inquiry that his treatment had been unforgivable. She also accepted that she had probably signed off the legal costs that helped bankrupt him.

He is now pursuing the Post Office and Fujitsu for up to £8 million, arguing that the original 2007 judgment was obtained by fraud.

In May 2026, the Court of Appeal ruled that his claim should proceed as one trial.

Almost two decades after those first calls for help, he is still fighting.

91 calls.

No solution.

Then bankruptcy.

Does it ever come up that this was a UN resolution a large majority of countries voted for in 1975...until Israel and the US dismantled it by threatening or bribing poor countries?

Forests have a positive influence on our health. Trees filter dust and soot particles from our air - and the mere sight of a tree measurably reduces our stress, researchers have found. I wish you to find a tree near you🌱🌿☘️🌳🌲🍀💚

“Abortion must be illegal”

A woman wanted an abortion 4 months in after finding out the fetus had no skull.

She was told no. Abortion was illegal.

She was forced to give birth, and so she did. The baby was born. It couldn’t breath. The mother cried. It suffered for minutes. It died.

The Democratic Republic of Congo holds over 70% of the world’s cobalt reserves that power our smartphones, laptops & electric vehicles. To extract it, an estimated 40,000 children are digging through toxic mud with bare hands.

It’s not China they fear.

It’s what China disproves.

That a nation can rise without plunder.

That poverty can fall without war.

That growth doesn’t need Wall Street permission slips.

That a billion people can be fed, housed, and educated without invading anyone.

That is what terrifies the empire.

Not tyranny.

But competence.

Gabby Petito was murdered by her partner Brian Christopher Laundrie on July 2, 2021 so this group of brazen Australian dudes decided to demean her.
They called her a virus, said they'd 'give her one in an emergency' and claimed her murdered was justified. Because of course they did.
