@kitten_beloved The bit about bedrock-level storytelling is a bit of a pain for me. My great-great-great uncle is a famous uligershin, and I was unable to tell stories short and to the point in my native language since childhood. A lot of times it sound a lot like Homer's Illiad. 🤦‍♂️

@SanQiDivination Another logic is: which team asker is rooting for? Which is "our" team before the prediction. That team would be 甲 and the other 庚.

Or perhaps colors of uniforms, or attributes/directions like what you are doing. All are most likely correct, if applied consistently.

My line above was about positioning on the field at the start of a match. Who begins on the home side of the field?
That is easy in chess, but I am not familiar enough with rules of football to understand if that logic applies.

@SanQiDivination Yeah, that is one of the reasonings for such usage in the literature that I've read.
When teams are playing at home stadium vs guests it is clear indicator of which team is which. But in cases as world cup, is there a side that starts with the ball in football?

And my family has some related background. E.g. my cousin on my father's side is a traditional Buryat shaman for 30ish years now.

I could ask what was the greatest insight from my companion who was also there.

The ability to function differs from person to person, and can improve with experience.
