Capital Camp 2025, in one short video.

Thank you to every camper who made it what it was.

It's been a joy to welcome thousands of operators and investors to our town of Columbia, Missouri over the past 8 years for @MainStSummit and @capitalcamp. Each year has offered both a whirlwind adventure all its own* and a familiar gathering of friends.
@BrentBeshore first shared the rough idea with me almost a decade ago. And if you know Brent, you know he has lots of ideas. I'll admit I was skeptical about this one. But he's never deterred by the hard work and heart required to carefully build something different and special. These gatherings have been no exception.
@Clayton_dorge and the events team** have executed flawlessly every year, through severe weather, last minute speaker changes, and even some who-would-think-of-that attendee requests. The welcoming environment so many people have remarked on is a direct reflection of their passion and commitment.
With this week marking the final MSS/CC, many people shared with me that there will be a hole in their calendar next year. I thought Steven Garber put it beautifully yesterday: "The Main Street Summit is a signpost... of what is real and true and right. It's a signpost of what could be and should be... There's no way we get it all right, but that's just true, isn't it?"
While I do look forward to seeing what other gatherings are created over time, community doesn't require a date on the calendar. Do things you care about with people you care about. Stay friends, and continue making new ones. Keep having fun.
Thanks to everyone who has made the journey to Missouri over the years. Thanks to Brent for believing it would be worthwhile. Based on the stories so many of you have shared, it certainly has been.
If you're traveling back from @MainStSummit or @CapitalCamp today, give this episode of From Founder to CEO featuring @BrentBeshore a watch! https://t.co/5TIFk168pg
The 2nd Main Stage last night was just as good as the first with @jeremygiffon, John Linehan, Nichole Wagner, @lukeburgis and @shaneparrish.
We can’t wait to see what today will bring. Last day, best day!
As if it couldn’t get better, we got to hear from Sara Storck, David Farmer, Devin Matthews, @_ram_, Steve Garber and @isaacfrench_ at the third Main Stage.
The day’s not over yet, though! Check out all of the sessions, speakers and activations this afternoon and join us at 4 p.m. for the final Main Stage.

Finishing out @MainStSummit 2026 with Sal Churi, Dupree Scovell, Johann Kurtz and Kanyi Maquebela at Main Stage was a perfect way to conclude.

Another day of Main Street Summit is another day to build your business, experience cool activations and hear from talented speakers.
Come and see what’s in store for today!
Main Street Summit 2026 has officially kicked off!
Thank you to everyone who started off the event bearing the heat in order to build relationships and make new connections.
Devin Mathews just dropped two of the most useful PE episodes of the year: PitchBook's H1 2026 data breakdown and how PE firms are actually using AI right now. Excited to have him on the Main Street Summit stage in September for the last hurrah.

Jamie Shah joins us at Capital Camp this September.
President of Chem-Impex, Adjunct Prof of Family Business at Chicago Booth, and one of the sharpest voices on a question most leaders quietly wrestle with: how do you get people to move when your title alone won't do it?
Her session with @RinaThomasWhite, How to Be Heard Without Being Loud, digs into credibility gaps, resistance, and how trust actually gets built.

Shegun Otulana joins us on stage this September at Capital Camp.
The mindset below, exited north of a billion and still getting hands-on because the playbook is being rewritten, is exactly why the room in Columbia matters. Founders and investors who've done it before, sitting next to the ones figuring out what "it" even looks like now.
September 15 to 17. https://t.co/k7qNGrS7a6
I failed at my first startup, started another one and exited north of a billion dollars ~eight years later. That was life changing but I love to build, so I jumped right back in.
I had learned and knew how to build a company where a person searched for a problem, found us, and signed up.
That entire path is being rebuilt right now around machines that answer on your behalf, and building a personal identity, etc, and none of my instincts were calibrated for it.
So I’m back to being hands-on, learning and spending more time on building with AI and everything else one has to do today to build. Of course I’m far from his level of success but even Jensen Huang is now active on social.
That's the part I'd tell any successful founder getting back in. Thankfully the money buys you the option to keep learning. It’s not easy but I'd rather be wrong about something new than stop building.
Heading into the final year of Main Street Summit & @CapitalCamp , we’ve been reflecting on the quiet stories that came out of Columbia: first customers, new partners, career pivots, long‑term friendships.
Over 5,000 people have joined Main Street Summit—owners, operators, and builders who actually run real businesses. This week is our Last Hurrah sale: Main Stage Pass is $250, Classic Pass is $1,000, and All‑In Pass is $5,000. Lock in your spot while prices are at their lowest and join us in Columbia this fall.
