1/ Privacy shouldn’t mean sacrificing verification.
And verification shouldn’t mean exposing everything.
That’s the problem @Primus_Labs is tackling with a confidentiality + verification layer for onchain finance. 🧵👇
2/ Think about how much valuable financial data still lives OFFCHAIN:
• Account balances
• Trading history
• Financial records
• Credentials
• KYC information
Onchain applications may need to verify this data — but users shouldn’t have to publicly reveal everything.
3/ This is where Primus becomes interesting.
Using technologies like zkTLS, Primus can enable applications to verify authentic Internet/offchain data while preserving privacy.
In simple terms:
Prove what matters.
Keep the rest private. 🔐
4/ Imagine an onchain lending protocol.
Instead of publicly exposing your entire financial history, you could potentially prove only the information the application actually needs.
That changes the model from:
“Show me all your data”
to
“Prove the required fact.”
5/ Primus zkTLS is designed to verify data coming from existing web endpoints without requiring those servers to be modified.
Primus also provides SDKs and a decentralized attestor network for developers building applications around verified offchain data.
6/ And it goes beyond simple verification.
Primus describes a Data Verification & Computation model where zkTLS can work alongside zkVMs, allowing computation over verified private data while producing proofs that applications can use. 🧠🔐
7/ The bigger picture is what interests me most.
DeFi already has powerful financial rails.
But bringing institutions, financial credentials and real-world data onchain requires something equally important:
CONFIDENTIALITY.
Primus is building a layer that can sit above existing rails instead of requiring finance to start from scratch.
8/ We spent years making blockchains transparent.
The next challenge may be making that transparency selective.
Verify what needs to be trusted. ✅
Protect what needs to remain private. 🔐
Keep using existing financial rails. 🌐
That’s why I’m watching Primus closely.

A7 plans to introduce a service that will reinvent international payments.
On 13 October, Bank PSB’s Russian international settlement platform A7 will launch A7 International. The product lets users settle invoices from foreign counterparties in USDT, while the recipient obtains the funds through an ordinary SWIFT bank transfer in the desired currency.
Foreign-trade operators form the core audience; individuals may also take part. The fee is locked at 0.3 percent.
Petr Fradkov, Chairman of PJSC Bank PSB, and Ilan Shor, CEO of A7, will give an overview on 13 October at 10:13 UTC.
