It's me, Kuno.
I know you've assigned us dogs the task of helping the humans to learn to sniff out the happiness in the world, to appreciate the simple pleasures like a warm bed and a full belly and to just be good. It's been a harder job than we imagined, though. Instead of sniffing out happiness, a good portion of them use their senses to find things that make them angry and snarly. Many of them get all worked up about what others say or do instead of just trying to make their own home happy. Sometimes they are mean and they seem to really fear change.
But I want to let you know that I think we're making progress! I see so much goodness in the world. I see humans trying to listen to one another and understand. I see them sharing with those who have much less than them. I see them reaching out and lending a paw to help others. I see them look at their dogs and smile and I think maybe they're starting to learn to be a bit more like us.
It's a big job and it'll take awhile but I think us dogs are doing a good job. I hope you think so too.

Oh, and if you wanted to send a little bacon my way I'd be very appreciative.

@Archaeon_Alex @ardemp I think the sandwich technique is useful If someone is doing well in some aspects, but struggling in others. It is a way of putting the criticism in context, where there are some successes. If folks know they doing well on some fronts, it helps motivate them more to make change.

@ravenscimaven Modern hearing aids are programmed specifically to amplify only the ranges that your hearing is damaged in- they will be adjusted to not amplify the ranges where the cymbals are. You will go through a period of adjusting them, and can have them reprogrammed if they sound bad.

@MatthewBJane Sometimes the plug-in automatically imports the PDF for me and attaches it to the citation. Sometimes I have to download the PDF myself, and I just drag it on top of the citation and it adds it.
