🏛️We hereby announce our candidacy for the Constitutional Committee, running as the Cardano Constitutional Consortium (CCC). Our shared candidacy for a single CC seat (consortium), with the goal to support the success of Cardano’s governance ☀️
The path filled with trails, passionate in our shared vision. friends made and then lost. But the story contuines …
Sometimes, the ecosystem asks in unexpected ways, for the passionate to stand back up. When paths converge, new possibilities emerge.
Stay tuned…
Congratulations to the top 7 CC candidates! Looking like a good list to uphold our constitution and the spirit in which it was written 💪 #CardanoCommunity
Only 1 hour remains to cast your votes for the CC elections!
Vote Cardano Constitutional Consortium for CC! Mark (UK, London), Gabriel (US, El-Paso) and Max (NL, Den-Haag) are here to represent you!
Only 2 days left on the Constitutional Committee elections!
Cast your vote for the @cardano_cc! Forged in the fires of constitutional debate, and ready to serve 💪
Consider voting for the @cardano_cc for which Mark Hall, Gabriel Talamantes and myself will work to reflect the true spirit by which the Cardano Constitution was written!
3) Points for further discussion:
a) How is Ada Owner interpreted in terms of the proposal?
b) When and how is ada-owner consent established for the delegation of voting rights?
In an attempt to answer the engaging, yet possibly incomplete hypothetical scenarios, the CCC has obliged this thought-experiment and identified following points of discussion, under the assumption that a real Governance Action would likely provide the missing contexts🧵👇
Constitutional committee candidates, here are two questions that will greatly impact my vote:
1) Would you consider an allocation of treasury funds to leading "De"Fi protocols, potentially in conflict with tenet 3, constitutional?
2) Even though not (currently) enforceable on-chain, would you consider votes cast using ADA in allegedly non-custodial smart contracts, for which the original owner did not explicitly consent to the use for voting on their behalf, constitutional?
