In the old days when only birds tweeted, I welcomed bitterns et al to Noah's Ark in mystery plays on the University of Leeds campus. Forty years on, I am delighted to be singing wonderful music by @mattbakermd in the current cycle at Chester Cathedral @2023MysteryPlay
To mark #WorldEnvironmentDay, we’ve launched a share offer to fund the largest community-owned solar array in Greater Manchester.
We’re excited to be working with… 🥁🥁🥁

Meet some of our stitchers and makers who are working hard behind the scenes at Chester Mystery Plays to dress and equip our enormous cast. It is not too late to join our merry band so if you can stitch, make or do, get in touch. Message for details.
I may no longer be writing indexes, but I am still using them, and appreciating the skill and effort which goes into them. Here's to indexers everywhere 🥂 on National Indexing Day #indexday
Thanks to everyone that joined us for our bat walk last night! It was incredible to see so many bats hunting over the water on the Moor, and we saw lots of beautiful moths in our moth trap back at the orchard. A huge thank you to @AdamLinnet1@CheshireWT for guiding the evening🦇
I can heartily recommend #indexing as a career. I have worked on many interesting books over the past 30+ years. I now look forward to starting a new chapter... #retirement
