@JasonKerno72477 @_DearOldState Its worrisome indeed and Chesney's early success at UCLA makes this more troubling.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@MySportsUpdate Just look at the division and the Philly faithful will feel better.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@SheintochM @AustinRBechtold He did. Their defense is extremely bad and they have no running game. The QB, the tight end and wide receivers are the only decent players on the team.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@Bobjstoneharbor @wdesautelle True. If he looks this bad next game they got to go to the next guy, who was fairly highly rated coming out of high school.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@Bobjstoneharbor @wdesautelle College coaches cannot count on years and growth in today's college football environment and transfer portals.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@PSUStats This may all be right, but there is no way you know for sure after a few games.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@Ubersmalzie @WhiteOutFB Chesney and Sumrall are not having these issues.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@SuperSpeshX @WhiteOutFB Do we know if Grunk would have stayed?

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@WhiteOutFB Agree but the "did we miss out on Chesney" thoughts are getting worrisome.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@PennStateFball I really hope we made the right choice over Chesney ...but

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@WillSta83596181 @MinkahSzn @PennStateFball Franklin also list to Northwestern last year with a large talent advantage

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@mbarnes1121 @PSUBarstool Veterans? What about stud recruits.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@KevG163 Jim Del Gaizo. Went to Giants for the 1975 season where he put up some stellar stats, completing 12 of 32 passes with no touchdowns and three interceptions

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@FoxNews The key line in the story here is "President Trump claims"

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@Super70sSports Same here. About two months ago I decided to start tuning out all the BS. I will browse news online and that's it. I also did the same with sports. I stopped watching people talking about sports and only watch the games. I will not turn a football game on until opening kick-off.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@1053thefan Come on, its a little sandy area! How is it dangerous? How is that worse than anything in the the NFL stadiums with platic grass?

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@gmannVOLS USC guy is going low to tackle him before he starts sliding. It's unfortuaonte, but not dirty.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@ddofinternet The greed of these sports commissioners and owners for allowing this to happen is sickening.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@barstoolsports I would let this slide. Franklin is a good guy and will poor his heart into making VT a solid program. Just not a good big game coach and for some reason, ran a very strange offense with no decent WRs last few years at PSU.

[Dave_Carrell @carrell_dave]

@TheRealSlamMan @Super70sSports Me too! He used to snare the ball when catching the putout at first base. Loved watching him play.
