#StormAgnes is fast approaching and is going to bring very difficult weather conditions to #Cumbria & the #lakedistrict. There are also high tides forecast. Avoid being out in this one - it has the potential to be very nasty. It’s a tearoom day not a fell climbing day.

There is significant risk of wildfire at the moment in the #LakeDistrict. There’s been virtually no rain for weeks, the lakes levels are very low and the ground is tinder dry. PLEASE don’t light any fires, BBQs and be very careful about the disposal of cigarettes.
