What we’re basically going to see happen is that China is going to cure cancer.
If you want a map to all the technological advances you’re going to see in the next 10 years out of China, the formula is “technology now makes it possible to do X, but it’s really hard to do X in the United States.”
@Jaqulnofmordor@j0ker937 This very well could be SubTropolis in Kansas City. It used to be a mine and now it's an underground business complex. It's still in use, but parts of it are abandoned.
If you're an American and this concept bothers you then you're a huge pussy and you hate your own country
Every person should want their country to be able to project their will anywhere at any time
I'm not gonna be rude and I'm gonna assume good faith from you. Americans and Australians are just different flavors of Anglosphere. The difference is (and I mean this in the best way possible, btw) America was settled by the rowdiest, most ambitious, and most mentally unstable people the British Isles had to offer, so in that way we're a distillation of a certain "type of guy".
For what its worth, Iran is a wrestling powerhouse and their wrestlers have used heavy clubs to train for thousands of years. There are certain movement patterns that are very common but very difficult to train under load and club swinging is a way to do so. The bodybuilders would win in a fight against the guy in the video, but there are plenty of Persians who incorporate club swinging into their training who would win in a fight against the bodybuilders.
