doesn’t apply just to the Russia-Ukraine War —>
“To win in future wars, Western militaries will require robust and resilient land forces that can address the unique challenges of land warfare…it will continue to take a land force to defeat a land force.” https://t.co/xvtmywDP7H

Yes, China can sink U.S. carriers. The DF-21D is called “Carrier Killer” for a reason. I reckon underwater drone swarming would, at best, hamper submarine systems in order to enable the sequencing of other tactical surface actions.
🇨🇳China has developed underwater drone swarms — a revolutionary tech designed to neutralize aircraft carriers in future conflicts.
I believe China can sink American aircraft carriers. However, I doubt it will be drones that will sink the ships.
It's more likely that it's China's hypersonic missiles.
Though China has supplied dual-use components for Russia’s defence industry, kept Russia’s economy afloat with energy purchases, and promoted propaganda blaming Ukraine and NATO for the war, its leaders have consistently claimed neutrality https://t.co/OHeZicELBF
Taiwan’s intelligence chief Tsai Ming-yen revealed that the PLA’s “STRAIT THUNDER-2025A” exercise served a dual role: projecting deterrence abroad while stabilizing internal morale during a purge of Eastern Theater Command leadership. Tsai warned of potential rapid PLA escalations around 20 May and highlighted the drill’s heavy use of propaganda and cognitive warfare tools.
The Japan-U.S. command post exercise KEEN EDGE, held in February 2024, explicitly simulated a Chinese invasion of Taiwan for the first time. The exercise evaluated Japan’s response through collective self-defense measures, including JASDF missile attacks on Chinese vessels. Australian participation enhanced the scope of the exercise, which will serve as a reference for future operational planning.
