@randfish@docrussjackson@amandanat@sparktoro No much more to add other than it's when the Twitter API fails to return all the data we need, so it could happen on any of the API calls we make. Looking at our records there is a slight increase but not by much. Also seems to be time of day dependent.
@Vvindicta@sparktoro Hi Timon, you used our Fake Followers on 3/15/2021 and approved use of your API key at that time, it's read-only. We use it to update your Fake Follower and SparkScore. You can revoke our access at any time by going to https://t.co/E9M3SdPy5u and removing SparkToro.
That's why we launched Audience Tracking.
It's the newest SparkToro feature to help you stay on top of rising and falling trends.

@DustinWStout@kayak360@elonmusk@sparktoro Happy to answer any questions in between all the other stuff I'm working on. Twitter has way more data on accounts and should be able to identify bot/fakes pretty easily, even if they get the obvious ones it would make a huge difference.
@shortthorts @DeanCruddace @thetafferboy@elonmusk@sparktoro Not being prickly, just want to make sure folks understand that a read-only app is not likely the cause of why their account was locked.
@shortthorts @DeanCruddace @thetafferboy@elonmusk@sparktoro The number of times is within the rate limits of Twitter's API, seems strange they would lock out the user's account and not go after the app itself. We also have over 500K users with similar API calls and we haven't seen any other reports of this.
@DeanCruddace @shortthorts@thetafferboy@elonmusk@sparktoro Just an FYI, SparkToro only has ReadOnly access to your account and the activity you are seeing is use refreshing our Fake Followers and SparkScore for your account. We can't modify your account or tweet for you.
@SWOTSocialMedia@sparktoro Seems to be working on my end, have you tried logging out and back in, or an incognito window? If that doesn't work reach out to us at [email protected].
