As a federation representing teachers and education workers across Canada, who are familiar with the expectations of unpaid work, the CTF/FCE:
💪 stands in solidarity with Air Canada flight attendants in their pursuit of fair wages, better working conditions, and stronger job security
🫶 empathizes with a highly feminized workforce facing unfair working conditions
👉 urges the Minister of Jobs and Families allow the collective bargaining process to play out
🤝encourages @AirCanada to bargain in good faith to reach a deal that is beneficial for workers, Canadians, and the airline.

From August 11 to 14, the #CTFFCE was in Toronto for the 2025 ETFO AGM, along with Clint Johnston gave his first official address as @CTFFCEpresident. Sending our gratitude to @ETFOeducators for inviting and welcoming us.

Key findings:
🚪 45% have considered leaving the profession in the last year;
⚠️ 43% do not feel they have a safe working environment;
💡 93% say working with students remains a core reason they stay in the profession.

🏫 Nearly 1 in 2 educators have considered leaving the profession in the past year
😞 1 in 10 report they “never” feel valued
