1. Create content that users are searching for.
2. Build (or attract) links and mentions.
3. Repeat, forever.

Do the boring stuff consistently on a long enough timeframe and you win.

@cassiemcblane Not dead for content at all, just poor content from non-topical authority sites, or content produced by Fiverr/Upwork level writers who have no business being in SEO.

Topical authority + high-quality backlinks will still generate traffic (and even more so for local biz)

Everyone sees what they want to see.

🔗 Link sellers tell you it proves links are still important.

📕 Semantic SEO people tell you it proves they were right all along.

👼 Niche sites tell you this is why they went down.

👩‍💼 Agencies tell you it proves you should build a brand
