We’re glad there’s significant pushback from party cadres. The BJP is not just about its leadership, but also about the efforts of untiring workers. Their faith matters more than blind trust in the leadership. There’s a perception that the BJP has been shortchanged in Chennai and Coimbatore. At least four seats that should have been with us have been gifted to the AIADMK. Now that this feedback has reached the leadership, they must do what is within their power to explore seat swaps with the AIADMK. What the cadres want is a fair deal.
