Land Surveyor living in the southern Shenandoah Valley of the Virginia mountains. We are the 4 catbillies in a Virginia mountain shack, as seen on YouTube.
Such a beautiful area & the Valley is simply something special in Appalachia. Different, not always considered Appalachia "proper", yet the breadbasket of the South still. Sweeping views of the Blue Ridge & Alleghenies. Fields of crops, cattle, sheep... home of the Shenandoah Battlefields National Historic District. We still live history here. I love my homeland!
@illsaywutiwant@GetOnTap HAHAHAHAHA! Small little town snuggled up by the Blue Ridge in the southern Shenandoah Valley. I was born in Virginia myself. Used to live in Fairfax County. Came here many years ago to find peace & nature.
@illsaywutiwant@GetOnTap Are you in Virginia? Just curious...
I own a couple of homes in Grottoes. Right across the street & river from Grand Caverns. Most folks never heard of my little town, hehehe!
It's funny with poison ivy. People confuse all sorts of perfectly fine vines with it, especially Virginia Creeper. I remember coming across a group of folks warning everyone to stay away from what I knew to be Virginia Creeper. I broke into the group just as an outside guy with actual knowledge. I explained the difference between Virginia Creeper & Poison Ivy. Then... I saw some actual Poison Ivy. I reached over & grabbed it with my hands. I said, "See this? THIS is Poison Ivy". They all backed away from me like HUHHHHH??? "But... you're GRABBING it???". It's hard to explain to folks when you're not at all allergic & get them to believe you. I'm sure they thought I was foolin' 'em...
@CallanRodg71759 WTF happened??? I spent 10 hours in a holding cell once in Baltimore City about 35 years ago. Snowflake in a coal mine. The ham sandwich I got was inedible...
@saniyafatma1278 Absolutely. Coke has more carbonation, Pepsi is more like sweet syrup... of course the fountain versions are different from the bottled versions.
