magnetic women really have a chokehold on society.

like watching people accuse Sol of doing "glamour magic" is funny because it really shows makes me realize how uncomfortable people become when they can’t easily explain a woman’s influence.

if people are drawn to a beautiful woman, she must be secretly evil. if she stands out, she’s attention seeking. if people become fascinated by her, she must be doing glamour magic.

but some women just have AURA. they know who they are + take up space unapologetically. and because that’s harder to quantify than beauty, people start looking for supernatural explanations.

I noticed as a woman subconsciously no one wants you to be the loudest, proudest, or smartest in the room. they’ll find a way to try to make you sound dumb, crack a joke to make you look stupid, or even try to demonize you.
