A big congratulations to Harold Johnson on his retirement.
Thank you to Harold and his wife Brandy for stopping by City Hall today — It was my pleasure to present a proclamation in honour of his years of dedicated service to Chinatown.
Happy retirement, Harold!
The challenges we see today require unconditional cooperation between different levels of government.
With Premier @Dave_Eby, Vancouver has its strongest partner in a generation.
I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together. #vanpoli#bcpoli

33 years ago today at l’Ecole Polytechnique, 14 women were massacred. On December 6th, we observe the National Day of Remembrance and Action for Violence Against Women. Nobody should ever be subject to violence because of their gender.
This is a great announcement for Vancouver.
Thank you to the Provincial Government and our School Board for continuing this collaborative approach. #vanpoli#vsb

A big thank you must go out to Vancouver city staff who have been working around the clock to clear major routes and keep people safe on our roads.
Thank you as well to all residents who are doing their part to keep sidewalks clear and safe for pedestrians.
Today, Council voted to commit the full block of funding to begin the hiring of 100 new police officers and 100 mental health nurses. This investment will enhance Vancouver’s frontline response and will set a new standard for policing across North America. #vanpoli
We are grateful to Premier @Dave_Eby and the Provincial government for their ongoing support and policy alignment on public safety, mental health, and addictions and we look forward to continuing that positive relationship in the future. #vanpoli#bcpoli
