I don’t wanna share much about Mamdani, but just a question to the liberals and his vociferous supporters:
How many Palestinians must be killed and maimed until Palestinians can call him a traitor and complicit?
Or do you want another genocide to happen in Gaza before we hurt Mr Mamdani’s precious feelings?
This morning, my wife Yara, our two children, Emad and Adam, and I were talking about everything we have lived through during the war in Gaza—how we used to run for our lives under bombardment and gunfire, and how many times we narrowly escaped death.
Then Emad asked:
“Dad, what about when you told me this war would end? It still hasn’t ended. When will we get our safe life back?”
My wife Yara replied:
“Perhaps, Emad, we believed that the world would stop this genocide and fight to save us. But it seems they have forgotten us and left us to die.”
I interrupted her and said:
“No, Yara. The world will not forget us. People still think about us, and there are so many people around the world raising their voices for us, for Palestine, and for an end to the war in Gaza.”
She replied:
“I don’t think so. Maybe after three years of this war, people have forgotten us and grown tired of hearing our news.”
So I told her:
“Then I’ll share our conversation in a post on my X account, and we’ll see how many people out there still love us and raise their voices for us.” 💔
So, my friend, please don’t ignore this post.
Leave a comment saying “Free Palestine” 🇵🇸, or simply 🍉, or even just a dot (.).
It would mean so much to my family!!
I’m a journalist from Gaza. I covered the genocide for almost two years.
I support the protesters who protested Mamdani and called him a traitor.
1- Mamdani has appointed Phylisa Wisdom, the Zionist leader of a liberal Jewish community group to lead his Office to Combat Antisemitism.
2- He went to stand in a vigil to mourn Israelis as the genocide drags on.
3- He passed a motion to combat “antisemitism” funneling millions of dollars to pro-Israel groups.
4- He can’t stop excoriating the Gaza armed resistance and blaming the victims and no one is asking him to support them but just to dodge such pernicious questions.
5- He allows Israeli soldiers to run amok in NY after they go to Gaza and commit war crimes.
6- He had no issues with the police protecting the Israeli delegate and indicted war criminals.
7- He didn’t do anything about the Palestinian land auctions run by Jewish groups in the US.
And much more to say as he only shows us performative signs of solidarity. It’s Palestine which won him the elections. And he has practically not fulfilled any of his promises.
If this is not complicity, I don’t know what to call it. But yes, Palestinians should shut up as the genocide continues unabated because the liberals are irritated.
If you genuinely care about Palestinians, listen to them. Mamdani is responsible and needs to be pressed more and more. He is betraying his voters and the cause that won him the elections.
The divide on Palestine is between those who are connected to a reality where jews kill Palestinians every single day with full organised backing of the jewish community and others who have been brainwashed by electoralism into nihilists inured to this unacceptable reality.
@eacc_uptimizer@guychristensen_ Yes calling for actions to weaken Zionism proves that guy is an agent working towards Zionism.
How does that make sense?
@Deicide0201@mainey_maine This is why we hate liberals. You think trump is the enemy. Trump could be swapped for Vance or Rubio at any point and the fascist agenda would continue.
@AtomicSunrising@mainey_maine Us empire and Israel has killed over 700k Palestinains in 3 years. The president when this started was liberal Joe Biden.
It’s bewildering to me, after all we’ve seen over the past 3 years, that folks still believe there is anything to gain by giving even an inch to Zion*sm. Every capitulation. Every legitimising of their narrative. Every transgression against the Palestinian line. is a W for them
The intense freak-out about the protests of Mamdani seems really extreme. That’s because it’s not just about Mamdani, but about the perceived threat to the Democratic plan to use pied pipers like Mamdani to build a consensus behind a liberal Zionist replacement for the pro-Palestine movement.
