🚨BREAKING NEWS:🚨
Chris Mattei—the attorney who represented the Sandy Hook families and won the landmark $1.4 Billion defamation verdict against Alex Jones, the largest in U.S. history—is now representing Jen McCabe, Brian Albert, Brian Higgins, and Colin Albert in their defamation lawsuit against Aidan Kearney and Karen Read, filed today in Barnstable Court.
Mattei dismantled Alex Jones’s web of lies in the most high-profile defamation case in history. Now, he’s bringing that same fight to this case.
Joining him from Hinckley Allen are Bill Fish, a First Amendment specialist, and the GOAT Jim Tuxbury, who is representing the witnesses in Read’s preposterous lawsuit.
Bang Bang.
I’ve had some time to process the not-guilty verdict in the #KelseyFitzsimmons case, and I’ll be honest: it doesn’t sit right with me.
Judge Karp said he found both Kelsey and Officer Noonan credible and that without body-worn camera footage, we’ll never fully know what happened. To me, that feels like an easy out.
Cases have been decided in courtrooms for decades without body cams. That’s not new. That’s not a barrier to justice. That’s an excuse. A cop-out.
And when you look at the facts, there are real credibility issues that shouldn’t just be brushed aside.
Kelsey told police the guns were locked in a safe in the basement. There was no safe in the basement. The guns were scattered around the house. That’s not a small mistake. That’s a false statement. So the obvious question is why? Was she planning something else before she was surprised with the TRO? It makes no sense to have guns scattered around the house while your baby is home with you, no?
At the same time, you have Officer Noonan, a highly trained former SWAT team member who has extensive experience in high-stress, shoot/no-shoot scenarios. This is literally what he’s prepared for. The idea that he simply “panicked” in that moment doesn’t line up with his background or training.
This case came down to a few seconds and whether you believe a trained officer responding to a perceived lethal threat, or an account that includes clear inconsistencies.
And now, predictably, the next phase is already starting.
You’ve got the Aidan Kearney / #FKR crowd going after Justin and Noonan online. Neither of them were charged with any crimes, yet they’re being dragged, smeared, and targeted.
It’s the same tired playbook:
* Discredit the witnesses
* Attack their character
* Create enough noise that the truth gets buried
It’s shameful. And unfortunately, it works more often than it should.
You can agree or disagree with me on the verdict. That’s fair. But going after people who were part of this incident, who testified, and who have not been charged with anything, crosses a line.
Hopefully, someday, a Massachusetts judge or official will stand up and be counted or just do their job. That'd be a nice place to start. This has to end.

It is a great day if Karen's attorney is "not pleased."
"Read’s attorney, Ben Urbelis, tells me he is “not pleased” with the decision, stating: “This decision is essentially just a piece of paper saying we're right, but it makes no difference.”
@TeamFUKR He's so cocky that he doesn't even realize when he slips up sometimes like this. I have to think Meredith might have some recordings she's holding onto, just in case. The problem is, Mere doesn't want to give up the grift either. But, he claims KR isn't talking with her anymore.
The O’Keefe family’s attorneys have officially filed a request for a temporary restraining order on Karen Read’s phones - and they’ve done it with good cause. Let’s not forget what happened the last time her devices were at issue. When she was served with a subpoena for them, she wiped them and she told Tully, “Good luck, you’re going to need it.”
Well, today those words echo a little differently. Because now, as steps are being taken to preserve what may still exist, we’ll simply repeat them back: Good luck, Karen. You’re going to need it.

Why are Karen Read, her family, and Alan Jackson so invested in getting @adamdeitch elected DA in a county they don’t even live in?
I do live here—and I’m extremely concerned.
Deitch investigated the John O’Keefe case and found zero corruption and zero conspiracy. ZERO.
The case was closed.
The idea that the DOJ would allow a factually innocent, supposedly “framed” woman to be tried for murder twice is beyond absurd. If there were any evidence of framing, it would have stopped immediately.
According to court pleadings Karen Read remains under investigation for conspiracy to commit witness intimidation.
She and her lawyers clearly enjoyed a cozy relationship with Deitch during her trials, while “someone” inside the DOJ was leaking case information to ARCCA during a sequestration order.
Yet Deitch repeatedly refused to speak with the O’Keefe family when asked—again and again.
A vote for Deitch is a vote for Alan Jackson and Karen Read.
Their accountability under the law disappears the moment he takes office.
Victims’ families and witnesses will not be respected—or protected.
I don’t know who the right candidate is for Norfolk County yet, but I know who it isn’t.

@lisaharold23@JulieCar94 I also believe he has it in his head that it's too late because KR was found NG. I recall after trial 2 him saying "Why would I flip now? KR would still be free. Why do you want me to flip?" And I think Nick Rocco convinced him to stop talking shit about KR + commit to grifting.
@lisaharold23@JulieCar94 I'm not sure. I believe a lot of them still in it are deep in + KR/conspiracy fans - and crazy to some extent. But I agree that deep down some think (or know) KR killed John. So I still think he should flip, for everyone including himself. Book/movie deal $. He's just too scared.
@lisaharold23@JulieCar94 It's hard for me to narrow down the why. But I think it comes down to him liking being evil/lying/his little cult/their $/fake hero attention vs. if he flips/tells the truth, all that is gone + he's a snitch/fraud/con/alone. He does not have the courage/strength to stop his evil.
@lisaharold23@JulieCar94 It's so dumb. He knows he's choosing his grift, cult + prison time for a cop killer over doing the right thing/exposing KR etc./starting over/telling the truth. And the latter would make him more $$, but he's not willing to. I can only hope the CW prepares fully for that trial...
