Clear enough sky and an opportune time came together so I could make this image I've been dreaming of for a long time. Here's CRS-33, the historic 50th Dragon mission to the ISS, in the most Florida way I could present it: "The Falcon Flies High Over Bucee's !" @SpaceX@bucees
Bruiser lights up the skies one final time earlier tonight, continuing its historic track record and successfully delivering 29 Amazon Leo satellites to orbit.

@fidopatch @SaundersClark_@RileyRalmuto Yeah, but everyone else can write books too, doesn't mean they'll ever come close to the sales of Stephen King.
@John_Winkopp@FelixSchlang@Spacepointorg I was in the O&C and the pad was completely obscured from our view. We saw the plume through the fog, but it looked barely like a flashlight. It was very loud though, rumbling the building more than I've noticed before!
@E5Nasty@joeroganhq We always named them after who we bought them from. There was nothing more hilarious than mom plating up Sunday dinners saying "We're having Neil and Helen for lunch today!" and she didn't mean we had guests joining us at the table!
2026 launch number one: At 1:48am Sunday (Jan 4), SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket, sending a batch of Starlink satellites to space.
This was the view from Cocoa Beach, Florida.
(bonus: The 1st stage booster entry burn is faintly visible through down-range clouds)
