बेंगलुरु, कर्नाटक में वस्त्र एवं सेरीकल्चर क्षेत्र से जुड़े राज्य और केंद्र सरकार के अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता की।

बैठक में PM MITRA Parks के विकास कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही, ETP को उद्यमी आधारित मॉडल के माध्यम से बढ़ावा देने और इसके प्रभावी संचालन की दिशा में आवश्यक कदम उठाने पर चर्चा की।

A meeting was held at New Delhi on 20.8.2026 under the chairpersonship of the Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, to review the overall cotton situation in the country. Shri Lalit Kumar Gupta, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Cotton Corporation of India (CCI), attended the meeting along with senior officials of the Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).

The meeting reviewed various aspects of the cotton sector, with particular emphasis on better utilisation of the existing infrastructure and capacity across the cotton value chain.
