Respectfully, Minister Hodgson's message is increasingly difficult to take seriously:

“Our energy potential is enormous.”

Yes—but your government restricts access to the northern Pacific, subjects projects to an investment-killing approval regime and requires producers to absorb costs their international competitors do not bear.

Then you travel around and announce that it is “time to build.”

Minister, Albertans have been ready to build for years. It is Ottawa that keeps saying no.

Well, theres a problem folks. The reality is millions of Canadians now think 🇨🇦's current cancer of drugs, crime, poverty, welfare & political strife is NORMAL.

How do you propose to convince people to fight for something they never knew? You can't.

The version of Canada you are trying to resurrect, was a unified culture with shared values, religion, morals, beliefs and most importantly SHARED TRUST in each other. That society is gone. We literally speak a dozen different languages now.

Canadian Politeness?

Replaced with subway stabbings.
The love of the game?
Pride cult and participation medals.
Our greatest allies?
Met with woke boos and entitled jeers

Religious holy wars in our streets
Flag burnings
Church burnings
Censorship
Invasion of privacy
Confiscation
Race based law
Race based funding
RACE BASED HEALTHCARE!!!!

and it's all legal, legislated and backed by our selectively enforced charter of privileges and maybes.

For many new immigrants, Canada's state of disrepair is still still an "upgrade" from their country of origin. They are unaware of being completely scammed out of the Canadian dream. They'll never witness how much cleaner, safer, cheaper and more prosperous Canada used to be. You can't expect them to fight for something they never lived.

Worse, Ottawa rapidly addicts many to welfare, ensuring economic survival is tied directly to a dangerously far left vote, which perpetuates the crisis. After a few years they discover the hard way that the minute Ottawa finds cheaper votes to buy (often the enemies they fled from) that just like Canadians, the liberals turn their backs on them too.

Young Canadians?

This version of the great white north is all they've ever known too. They are fed the Neo-marxist trope in the classroom, coddled under a nanny-state, subjected to open racism and shame of Canadian heritage.

When it's time to enter the workforce, they discover that all the woke touchy feely bullsh*t amounts to a future living paycheque to paycheque in an economy rife with racial discrimination, taxes for entrepreneurs and the middle class and billions in welfare for foriegn nations while they can't even get the snow cleared out of our streets so they can go to work.

And here we come to the crux of this matter:

The most important ideological shift that is required for Canadians right now is is to gather the courage to finally admit some hard truths:

Canada is DONE.
Energy, food, shelter, employment have faltered
This nation WILL NOT HEAL.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

Canadians must recognize that the laws, charter and creed of the Canada we once loved Is also the precise machanism which led us to our current failures.

To restore it, would be to relive the collapse.

The only path forward now is to to find hope in building something stronger, prosperous and fundamentally more resilient and free.

We must escape Canada and it's legislative tyranny.

We must seek a new foundation that proudly legislates against Canada's failures. A constitution which denies absolute bureaucratic power. A constitution free of race and gender. A constitution that mandates economic opportunity, fiscal accountability and one rule of law for all citizens alike.

It starts with an independent Alberta.
It ends with a constitutional republic.

Again I call on all on Farmers. Tradespeople. Technicians. Mechanics. Miners. Energy workers. Entrepreneurs. Conservatives. Republicans. Populists.

The October referendum should not be reduced to party labels, personalities, or political theatre.

It should be about a practical and serious question: do Albertans have sufficient say over the decisions that affect our jobs, homes, housing, services, and future prosperity?

In 2021, 61.7% of Albertans voted to remove equalization from the Constitution. Premier Kenney asked Ottawa and the other premiers to act. They did not. Nothing changed.

Albertans should understand the difference between symbolic consultation and real leverage. The other referendum questions may express Alberta’s frustration, but they do not create any binding obligation on Ottawa to act. None.

An independence referendum is different. It compels Canada to confront Alberta’s unfair treatment in a way that cannot simply be ignored.

Get informed. Compare the claims. Understand what is actually on the ballot. Then vote.
