@AlextheAdm1ral I have concerns about the backstretch before the chicane by the water, if a driver loses brakes or a wheel through that it could be lights out. No run off area
@FlyGuyOnly773 People definitely accused Jimmie and Knaus were cheating back then. There’s the infamous audio of Chad telling Jimmie to bang the car against the wall after they won a race. That made the fans go crazy, and of course NASCAR ratings tanked during Jimmies reign.
At 4 yrs old, my son chose Kyle as his guy despite my fandom 4 Ford drivers. We watch each week and for the 1st time, he doesn’t have a driver in the fight tonight. My prayer is that he keeps watching, so we can continue to share that father son bond of watching cars go fast. 😓
@SuperNascarFan7@JC_andrews@NASCAR Not about an exhibition race that’s promoting crazy strategies with drivers laying it all on the line, and a package that’s producing compelling racing at Dover.
@nascarman_rr The most famous Oval in the world should not fall below the spring Talladega race, the brickyard requires driver skill and a team that can build a fast car.
@TeamKFBfan8@NASCAR I believe those fans left when Gordon, Stewart, Junior, Edwards, and others retired. Fans weren’t flocking to the TV to watch Byron and Bowman, and Boyer, Suarez. This caused nascars downfall more than anything.
@nascar_opinion Everything you named falls below Jimmie Johnson’s domination. And the superstar drivers of the 90s and 2000s retiring. People were not drawn to William Byron and Alex Bowman, in the same way as Jr. and Gordon.
