@kimmonismus well it's included in my subscription, it seem quite fast for thing where sol may have been overkill and seem quite good at what I tasked it on until now. Keeping my claude sub for opus 5.5
@SatoriSociety@thsottiaux Only on larger more complex tasks like performance optimizations on my end. And most time only when tibo announce a reset in 2 hours and I have still 60% usage left lol.
@buzzybats hello, building facades are procedurally generated shaders with windows, some are lit not completely randomly so it look natural. Some named buildings have custom 3d models and windows behave the same way
Yesterday I naively asked Codex how complex would it be to add a night mode? Now I'm racing through Zurich at night and asking it to explain about emissive shaders, depth buffers and render passes lol. Having my little ArcGIS 3d kart game to experiment with is teaching me a lot ๐
Is it still GIS if I'm turning an Esri 3D web scene into a karting mini game?
Today's ChatGPT reset + a banked one = ๐ฅnew computed 3D assets, WebGL parallax shaders and a track in Paris. 60 fps with JS in a browser, my globie game is getting less mini lol
Really liking the potential of shaders in Web 3D! Facade textures and parallax can make even simplified buildings look convincing, without extra geometry. And the best part is the possibility to integrate this into my ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript webscenes.
