Hungary's Media Moment Kft, the sales company of Rádió 1, Best FM, and owner of Slovenia's Radio City, has expanded its interests in Croatia by acquiring a 51% stake in Otvoreni Radio.

Otvoreni Radio’s revenue has been stable in recent years, with a €720,000 net profit in 2023. As reported by the Hungarian press, Media Moment is close to the business circles of Lőrinc Mészáros, a childhood friend of the country’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán.

5/1 New regions will enjoy the benefits of DAB+ programming in Slovakia, after Towercom got additional permits for test broadcasting in three locations: Borský Mikuláš, Košice - Dubník and Košice - Heringeš.

5/5 DAB+ signals in Slovakia are currently transmitted from 6 locations: Banská Bystrica, Bratislava, Dunajská Streda, Košice, Nitra and Žilina. The test multiplex includes two religious radios and eight stations from the public broadcaster. 5/5

🇵🇱's Meloradio updated its branding and music format. The previously gold-based Soft AC station has evolved into a more current and dynamic version of Easy Listening in recent weeks, with a higher rate of contemporary songs from artists like Ed Sheeran, Sia or The Weeknd .2/1

Hungary’s Media Authority have announced the winner of Budapest frequency FM 92.9. The new licence holder is Spirit FM, a socio-cultural Talk station, which has been broadcasting on the frequency with a temporary licence since last year. 6/1
