@WholeFoods I ordered groceries this afternoon and the only option was a late delivery, 8-10p. Becuase we're just in town and sick, we accepted it, and our card was charged almost $400 for half a week of groceries. It's 10:41pm and I JUST got a text our order was "cancelled". This is INSANE. We live in UT where you can't order food delivery past 9pm. You ruined our dinner. But more, we've been waiting up late for a delivery that was never going to come. We could have bought the groceries ourselves somewhere else this afternoon. I have loved you for many years. Since you opened, our family spends thousands a month with you. We have watched this prices go up, the local options disappear, the employees lose their benefits, and become disinterested in customer service, and the quality of produce and meats go down. Your delivery service is the worst in the business, at least locally. I've been a deeply loyal and grateful customer for decades. But you lost me tonight. I'm swearing Whole Foods off. What a disappointment you've become over the years. I wish I could say the opposite, I've grown up with the brand. But everything that made it special is gone.

Lonnie Johnson, a Black scientist employed at NASA in the early 1980s, was engaged in a project related to jet pumps. In a fortuitous accident, he inadvertently directed a stream of water across the room, sparking a brilliant idea for an innovative water gun. This led to the creation of the immensely popular Super Soaker.

To assess the viability of his creation, Johnson conducted an initial evaluation, comprising himself and his seven-year-old daughter. Her exuberant delight provided unequivocal confirmation that the water gun possessed immense potential. Subsequently, from the early 1990s onwards, the Super Soaker became a ubiquitous source of summer amusement for children throughout the United States. Moreover, this invention propelled Lonnie Johnson into the ranks of multimillionaires.
