It’s a great day to be winning against Reform 👀
Nigel Farage’s party have lost in Makerfield AND they’ve failed to get the High Court to strike out our trailblazing legal challenge.
Let’s keep up the fight against the far right 👇

Remember all the fake antisemitism thrown at anyone to destroy the Corbyn movement? I do. I fought back and between IPSO and a libel action against the Jewish Chronicle I won and proved it false. So now the new fake antisemitism charge is the fake terrorism charge. Fight these tactics, expose these lies every chance you can. Anti racists are not antisemitic and peace activists are not terrorists. Don’t give them an inch or you give them the red light for genocide.
@zarahussain999 So, which of the many accents in the UK do you reckon she thinks is a British one? Bet she thinks it's hers, and by that measure, millions of folks in the UK aint British citizens! 😄
@Alan__Shatter That's a long winded tweet mate just to have a moan about folks not liking an ideology you support. It aint a religion mate, it's an idea, a policy and if others think it's a bad thing, they're free to say it's wrong.
How are people on minimum wage supposed to live on their own in the UK?
You work full time. You do everything you're told to do. You get up early, go to work, pay your taxes and stay out of trouble.
Then payday arrives and within a few days most of it's already gone.
Rent takes half your wages. Bills take another chunk. Food costs a fortune. Before you've even thought about having a social life, replacing something that's broken or dealing with an emergency, you're counting pennies until next month.
At this point minimum wage isn't a living wage. It's a survival wage.
France and Germany have both seen the danger of Palantir and cut ties with the predatory firm - the UK must do the same

A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.
Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.
Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.
In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.
These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.
I've now had a chance to read this Bill. It is a genuinely alarming piece of legislation and typical of the draconian, authoritarian politics of the Labour Together Project, in which Mahmood has been a key player.
The Bill gives the Home Secretary nearly untrammelled power to designate any "group" working to advance a "foreign state threat." They are a "threat" if they pursue any objective that is inimical to the "interests" of the UK. Anyone who "supports" a designated group, like endorsing it or sharing its messages online, faces 14 years in prison.
This is so broadly written that it invites - almost guarantees - abuse. In the context of a potential far-right government, it is madness to put such draconian legislation on the books.
We already have two examples of how the state or political actors have effectively fabricated foreign state connections.
First, in manufacturing consent towards the proscription of Palestine Action, it was leaked to the press that there were links between the direct action group and Iran. But this was entirely false, as the government's Counter-Extremism advisor sheepishly admitted months later to Channel Four.
Second, I have personal experience of this. We now know that in response to my investigations into the unlawful conduct of Labour Together and Morgan McSweeney, Labour Together hired APCO Worldwide to investigate me, my colleagues and associates. The end result was a mad dossier alleging that I was a catspaw of foreign intelligence services, working to disrupt British democracy. I've now seen some of the "raw intelligence" on which this was based: literally everything I have seen was fabricated out of whole cloth, the thumb-suck of some swivel-eyed "intelligence" source. We now know that the most senior people in the Labour Party knew about this and didn't seem to bat an eye. Some of them even seemed to believe this web of absurd idiocy.
Anybody who has spent time at the coalface of investigating powerful people or standing up to militarism and forever-wars knows how legislation like this works. Secret intelligence is used to designate groups and people. That intelligence is classified, so the accused can't even see what they're accused of. Judges are given secret briefings where intelligence officials deliver doom-laden analysis, but they can't be cross-examined by the lawyers of the accused. Whispers and innuendo, the lubricant of the sort of "intelligence" that led to war in Iraq, are spun into concrete facts and grave national security threats.
This is not hyperbole - it is literally what has happened when campaigners have tried to challenge the sale of arms to Israel and Saudi Arabia, where campaigners themselves were not able to see, hear or test the evidence of the state at trial. In every instance, judges have then decided that they have no power to gainsay the State.
As this government collapses under the weight of unpopularity and scandal, it is now delivering for the reactionary forces that helped to put it in place through systematic and pre-meditated dishonesty. The result is a lattice-work of legislation and practice designed to criminalise and constrain dissent in the face of genocide, war, environmental degradation and the sort of corruption that turns state murder into money and misconduct into power.
There is every chance that within a week, Andy Burnham will be challenging Starmer for power. It is plausible Burnham could be Prime Minister by September.
His task, amongst many, will be to seek accommodation with progressive voters and movements that have abandoned the Labour Party. There will be plenty of discussion about the wisdom of that move from both sides. But it is likely to fail unless a Burnham government reverses course on the Starmer project's assaults on protest, jury trials, dissent, free speech and basic civil liberties.
And none of that is plausible as long as Mahmood, or any other Labour Together alumni, remains in post.
Unelected and unaccountable Quangos are out of control.
Volunteers removed 200 bags of rubbish from a river after years of neglect, pollution and fly tipping.
So the Environment Agency’s threatened to prosecute them! Idiots.
“We won’t clean it and you can’t either” 🤡
A message from Doctors against genocide.
Who would have thought that in 2026 such an organisation would have been necessary?
Who would have thought that being against genocide would lead to doctors being suspended from medical practice in the UK?
Welcome to Labour’s Britain.
Trust in news just hit a new record low, which is a good thing for everyone who is not rich. The news is not meant to inform the public. It is meant to condition the public to obey the very system that is rigged against us.

A real catastrophe is unfolding before our eyes in Gaza City, yet it feels as though no one cares. The world seems unaware of what is happening here, or perhaps it has simply stopped paying attention.
Today, I walked a long distance to the only drinking water station serving our area. When I arrived, I was shocked to find that it had completely stopped operating. The reason was not a technical failure, but the lack of fuel and engine oil needed to keep the desalination plant running.
Imagine a facility that provided clean water to more than 20,000 people living in displacement camps suddenly shutting down. This is happening as summer begins and the heat grows more intense with each passing day. Thousands of families are now left without access to safe drinking water.
And the tragedy does not end there. Dozens of bakeries have also stopped operating or drastically reduced production because they can no longer obtain the fuel and lubricants needed to run their equipment. Every day I stand in long lines under the scorching sun for two or three hours, and many times I return to my tent empty-handed, unable to find a single loaf of bread for my family.
The situation here is becoming more desperate with every passing day. No aid, no water, no bread, no homes, and increasingly it feels as though our lives have no value in the eyes of the world. What we are experiencing is no longer just a humanitarian crisisit is a disaster that is worsening by the hour.
Sometimes I feel as though I am writing these words into a void, as if our voices can no longer reach anyone. But the reality is that the situation here has spiraled completely out of control, and people are being left alone to face hunger, thirst, and unbearable heat.
Is anyone listening to us? Does anyone truly understand the scale of this catastrophe before it is too late?
Good people helped slaves to escape from bondage.
Good people hid Jews from Nazis.
Good people are sabotaging the weapons which are being produced for use in a genocide.
We must stand with these people.
The British government calls them "terrorists".
NHS Dr @NadimHCr was suspended MID‑SHIFT for opposing genocide. I am currently listening to his Orwellian employment tribunal and his witness's story will shock you.
Dr David Patch is a senior British consultant who also posted against the genocide and starvation in Gaza.
What happened?
Two jewish GPs reported Patch to his hospital. They claimed (threatened) that they would NOT refer their patients to him because of his political views. UKLFI reported him to the medical regulator (@gmcuk).
What did his trust, the Royal Free Hospital in London, do?
Asked Patch to delete his posts. Sent him to occupational health. Made him sign a behavioural contract.
For opposing genocide and 'israel'.
One of the posts he was made to delete said:
'The Holocaust of Gaza is a stain on humanity.'
Dr Patch has worked at the Royal Free for over THIRTY years. Dr Crowe had worked there for FIFTEEN years.
And this is how they were treated.
This is how zionists use their positions of power in society to silence British citizens and healthcare workers.
Power to Nadeem for fighting back against his unjust suspension and for our freedom of speech in Britain. May justice prevail.

"I want to talk about #Sheffield for a second.
Because people always give me grief when I bring it up. Like I’ve gotten the wrong end of something. Like there must have been a misunderstanding.
There wasn’t.
We got off the train. Walked up that hill. Completely exhausted, two small kids, no idea where we were going or where we were eating. Just quietly trying to figure it out.
And people were smiling at us.
Not because they could hear our accents. We weren’t talking. We were just there. And people just looked genuinely happy to have us around.
I know that sounds simple. I know that sounds like a small thing.
It was not a small thing. Not for me.
I grew up in the United States as a person of colour and I learned very early that how you present yourself in public is not just a style choice. It is a calculation. You think about what you wear. You think about how you walk. You think about whether the way you look is going to make someone clutch their bag or cross the street or decide you are a threat before you have opened your mouth.
I did that every single day without even realising I was doing it.
Sheffield was the first place I got off a train and just forgot to.
Nobody sized me up. Nobody decided anything about me before I’d had a chance to be a person. We got more smiles because we had little kids running around than we got anything else.
Then it happened in Carlisle. And in Bath. And in Oxford. And in Edinburgh. And it just kept happening. Every single time I braced for something that never came.
At some point I had to stop and actually reconstruct what I thought I knew about how the world worked.
Because nobody warned me it could feel like this.
Sheffield, you were first. I will not forget that."

I have an adult son with an intellectual disability. He recieves(d) services throgh the province. Access to a social worker, disability programs, a support worker.
Several months ago someone in disability servces closed his file and ended his access to services. The story from their end is he called and did this himself.
He's intellectually incapable of this task (hence the disability and high need for support)
To say trying to get his services reinstated has been frustrating would be an understatement.
Today I lost my shit. The rudeness and utter incompetence from a supervisor tasked with overseeing these vulnerable adult files blew my mind
I have a university degree and am director at a tech company and I can't budge these people to re-instate his services without going through a re-application process, re-assesment and lengthy wait
What is it like for persons with learning challenges and no advocate?
How many times are services just abrubptly ended and no one checks to see what happened to that vulnerable adult?
No one from disability supports has checked on my son or questioned this apparent decision of his to "end his services". They just cut him off, closed his file and make him fight to regain access.
Its appalling
With a steady voice despite her arrest, this British girl exposed what is happening in London: They assaulted us, spread hate speech, and when we exposed them for auctioning off West Bank land, the response was to arrest us, not the aggressors!
Have not been able to get this poor Ugandan nurse out of my head...
I've tracked down where we can donate to help her rebuild her life and show her we care
