What are your thoughts on the latest live-action remakes of older Disney princess films?
I can enjoy the music and pretty set design, but 1) why aren’t they simply creating new content? 2) there’s still a LOT of Orientalism in the new Aladdin unfortunately #Lesson11

@jorygutenplan I love this because it’s so true! Nowadays, depending who’s sharing the information, what we view on social media can be totally biased and a lot of history can be erased with a simple click! It’s so important to keep deconstructing what we consume! #Lesson10
