Turns out not everyone is going to build their own CRM after all. Some will try, then realize they’ve accidentally become a software company, spending time fixing bugs, maintaining integrations and rebuilding infrastructure instead of focusing on their actual business. AI changes how we use CRM. It doesn’t remove the need for one. But I am trying to compete with you little legacy system with @SoftSyncAI now.

@DanielSmidstrup Built one for CRM rather than code, and the hard part was not the model switching. It was deciding what the agent is allowed to touch before it touches anything. That part does not port between providers, you write it once per domain.

@fivosaresti Good list. Curious where you put the CRM row in a year. HubSpot is the safe answer but it assumes a human is doing the typing. The ones being built now assume an agent is.

@ColinGardiner "Could be a mess in there" is the honest part. Agent-written records only stay clean if every field and relation is labelled well enough that the model picks the right one twice in a row. That constraint ended up shaping our whole schema.
